CheezyO the fat chick dude...

Cover oregon isn't even working yet..Good luck on the ten minutes..That statement makes you sound like an idiot..
this is no ones fault but your state's and has nothing to do with the ACA:

Moda Health spokesman Jonathan Nicholas said enrollments through Cover Oregon were "backed up." He declined to say why.

Elizabeth Clewett, 64, enrolled Thursday with help from the office of her legislator, Rep. Val Hoyle, D-Junction City, after a "frustrating and exhausting experience." She had been paying $450 a month for an insurance plan with a $10,000 deductible. Through Cover Oregon, her premium will be $250 a month with a $3,000 deductible and $15 primary care visits. In September, she qualifies for Medicare.
Getting affordable insurance, she said, will be a huge relief, but she lamented the costly failures of the exchange.
"I have no personal animosity toward anyone involved, but Oregonians deserve an explanation of what happened, where deception may have occurred, and who is accountable for the many consequences flowing from these errors," Clewett said.

Well I applied in Wisconsin just to see the rates
Here is a piece of advice for oregon
Independent insurance companies like Pacific Benefit Consultants in Eugene said there are other insurance options, and they can help expedite the Cover Oregon application through their online portal.

But their biggest piece of advice? Keep calling.

"Calling Cover Oregon to get the status of your application is great," said Shelli Anderson, an insurance consultant. "A lot of times, like your friend who's not heard, it's probably because there was something missing on her application."

one caveat to an independent insurer's portal is that they only have their plans listed not all plans available they encourage you to choose from there and you'll end up "checking out" your basket through state exchange to get the subsidy..again, you don't get to see all plans available so i do not recommend going through insurer site..they did this in florida and i walked myself through just to see what my options would be..sneaky bastards they are..

Why would you be against a law that benefited you and doesnt affect 79% who already have insurance except to enhance the policys they already have?

CheezyO..

I like the part about no pre existing conditions, And how I can buy it like I do my car insurance. So I am not totally against the whole thing. The 79% you talk about are the ones that got a pass for a year so next year what do you think will happen to them...nothing or do you think they will be shopping for health care on their own through Obama care?

Next years election had everything to do with giving the 79% a pass..The other young healthy people got a pass with the 95.00 fine, and sky got free health care..I feel like I got fucked for some reason at 500.00 per month..I guess i am doing my part..

the 79% is the people who already have insurance. Not those that got a pass until next year.
And 500 a month?
DO you even realize that the cost to employers averages over 16k a year per employee for health insurance?

CheezyO..

I know the 79% already have ins..I already had ins too. And the same thing that happened to me is going to happen to a lot of those people next year..Why should an employer pay that kind of money 16k when the employee can get there own for a lot less?. It's a no brainer they will be shopping next year, thats what I meant about the pass because they didn't get dumped this year..

Say Elin...wooops...Skyler...did you get a donut hole in your coverage or some 5 firgure a year, deductible?

As for free, didn't she say she was a student, right now? And wasn't there some kind of loophole she fell in with her previous employer?

I say if you can find a loophole, indeed, fall for it.
