Driving for Medical Patients

So... Just been reading up on the new Rec stuff and that lead me to the law about the 5ng or DUI law.

Any medical patients (with red card) have experience/trouble with this? And in what areas? etc?

It seems like such an arbitrary thing, esp for someone like me that consumes edibles, concentrates, and flowers throughout the entire day. (1-2g bho per week, and 4-7g flower per day)

Do they at least do a roadside test to determine actual impairment before hauling you downtown and testing your blood? FFS I prob have more than 5ng/ml in my blood after sleeping 8 hours, lol.

I'm a fucking computer programmer that gets blazed as shit before working, if anything it helps me to focus and concentrate, not impairs me.

Have they even done any studies on how thc effects your driving? I don't think pure thc would even fuck you up at all, lol. I can see a non regular user having a tough time but it seems like total bullshit for someone that needs to smoke just to be able to sit in a chair for more than an hour without pain.

They are doing the same here in WA.

To my understanding, the "roadside test" is there suspicion alone, I don't know if it includes a field sobriety test. Also, all state police and a lot of local police are now trained to take your blood. No hauling you downtown. And with the amount you consume, you won't ever be able to "legally" drive.

There was 1 BS study up here on driving impairment, but i think a news channel did it. Nothing with actual proof from doctors on driving impairment, and the amount of active thc. Like you said, a rec user may take a bong hit and it just blows their mind. When you and I can consume multiple grams a day without the same impairment.
