I'm pretty sure it's a calyx but there's no pistils... yet? It's been like this for a week and several days.
I thought that maybe pistils should have already popped out?

I THINK I see a wisp of a pistil in the second pic (Just behind the sepal). Couldn't say for certain from the pics tho.....and yes, male or female, that's a nice looking plant!!

You're not looking hard enough
I do see what you are referring to, sorry but I still cannot confirm or deny it's a calyx.
Let's hope it is a girl, best of luck!

Why do you need to ask if you are so convinced that it's a female calyx, and then dispute those who are not willing to agree with that premature judgment call?
May all your females turn hermie.

OP -- still too early to tell. Yes, you could flip it to find out, but IMHO you need to veg more if you have the room. All your nodes are directly across from each other. A little older, and they'll start to alternate. That's one sign the plant is heading toward maturity. Give it another couple of weeks at least. Good luck!

I shouldn't have laughed at that, but I did :fire:

Krypto is right about the alternating nodes. If you can wait a few weeks before you flip, you'll be better off. Flipping it now would affect your yield, but you'll know sex way sooner.
