I'm in 7th week of flower and my light some how went off for 6 hrs but I have another light about 4ft from it so it wasn't in complete darkness. Will it be harmful to my plants? Will it herm? Please help with your thoughts!

I have read/heard that you should leave your plant in darkness for 3 days before you harvest. Has anyone heard of this and/or do you use this technique?

The question is on the last day when I'm doing the 24 hour darkness and lights have been off for 12 hours already, Do I water in the dark or let light turn on for a bit then turn off. Also do I feed normal or light on watering since they dont drink much in the dark.
