So if you live in a dry state like Colorado, you're fighting rapid/over-drying after harvest. So you've invested in environment control to really slow that dry down. You get a stem that cracks and it's ready to be jarred up! You slap a hygrometer in the jar to make sure you're not in that 70%...
Do you put the threaded jar ring on every time you close the jars
Or do you just sit the rubberized inner lid on them, and that cover will provide an adequate seal between burpings?
When curing your buds and burping the jars, do any of you find that the amount of bud to air ratio is important?
Say I have a half gallon jar that the bud fills half way so there is much more air than a couple quart size jars filled 3/4 or more.
