your input - Auto Blackberry & Auto Super Bud

Hay guys, I have these two girls come up last week. Gonna put one in soil and one in hydro (solo oxypot system). Anyone grown these strains before? If so, what were the yields like in the medium you chose??

I recently finished a blackberry run in FFOF. Perhaps I didn't veg long enough because the yields were small. What I harvested is very frosty and has a unique smell. They were moody when it came to nutrients and temp changes compared to master Kush and Blue mystic.

I went auto super bud in the hydro and auto blackberry in the dirt. Got them on cfl's atm but switchin to my 600w duel dpectrum hps next week. Lookin forward to this grow as its the first hps grow tent grow. Hopeing for some good christmas weed

I just germinated my auto blackberry and superbud, were they freebies?, I am finishing these outdoor for an early crop before the real harvest.
Cant seem to find any info on these strains. did you have any luck?. All the best bro, we can do indoor vs outdoor comparisions. keep us updated! i will post pics when the plant is worthy of them.

hay dude, Yeah got them both going good. Both fem so happy with that.

Had a few issues with them sadly. the superbud in the hydro system had some issues with the ph, had some brown rusted dpots but managed to get that under control. the Blackberry in the soil had horrible issues. Not 100% what it was but it didnt grow an inch for over a week. think it was the ph aswell, not lettin it take up the nutes. Uped the ph on her a good bit and she just burst with new growth. Really lookin good now.

Got the superbud on half flowering nutes now, changing the water tomorrow. topped her up 2 days ago with some nutes and some topmax bloom booster (got it free with my nutes). Just finnished the 4th week flowering. starting to get loads of resin growing now. its gonna be a frosty one XD and looks like its gonna be a good yeilder aswell (well for me anyway, only had small plant grows sofar in a cupboard lol).

the blackberry is on 3/4 strength canna coco nutes, watered 2 ltrs 2 days ago, really drinking alot now. added some topmax to her aswell. not sure what all it will do, anyone had any experience with it before?

heres the superbud, the top of the cola is turning white... not sure what this is but moved the light up abit. Hopefully that shoudl fix it, i have heard of the heat bleeching the buds before so hope it dosnt get worse. these were from a the day i watered them, sorry for the blurryness. ill get some more tomorrow when i change the water in the hydro bucket.

Your Blackberry looks small(different pheno), what did you flower yours under?

This has all been done under a 600w duel spec HPS all on an 18hr light cycle. i had some issues with PH for a while and it didnt grow a mm for about a week and a half. after i lowered the ph and uped the nutes it just bursted up a good bit. i ll not make that mistake again. its got only popcorn on the lower branches but the main cola is bulking out a good lot

the superbud has a bit of browning, think the ph is too high, should i just take the plant off and adjust the ph in the water or just change the water completly???

any advice is welcome, and let me know what you think of my girls

Looking great man, mine is under a duel spec 600 too but on 20hr light cycle. try changing yours to that as I've read that ruderalis can take up to 20 hrs of light.

Maybe just change the water completely, fresh water always helps from niggly little problems like that. This is my first auto grow so I can't give you much advice.
How tall are your plants? The blackberry looks more dense, the superbud has a nice main cola.

Estimates only (cant find the tape measure lol) but about 1.5' for the superbud, just over 1' for the blackberry. Small this grow it seems.
Just had a feel of the main cola on the superbud. Gettin denser so hopefully will yield well. Hopin for an oz of each.

HI Guys, Here is a pic of one of the leaves on the superbud hydro grow. i know the rusting is from some pH issues i have been having (i think its under control now) but is there anything else you can see wrong? the plant it 6.5 weeks into flower of an 8-9 week cycle. got her on 75% strength canna aqua flores. the buds are quite chunky and really starting to fill up with crystals, only 5 or 6 brown hairs and no amber showing yet.

Nice plant man, I'm gonna have a wild guess of 40 grams from your super bud. Do you have a 60x magnifying glass?.

The leaf shape is similar to mine, ruderalis must have a distinctive leaf pattern.

thanks the little blackberry is really chunky, i mean really! ( against what i was expecting anyway). So do you think it is looking ok then? was just a bit worries as it is getting very yellow. gonna change the water tomorrow after work and give her one last feed before i flush her for the last 2 weeks think that should do her. Gonna feed the blackberry two more times and then flush for 2 weeks, think it needs a wee bit longer

Yeah she is a monster for the size and has huge stems and leaves There's so much side branching!. gonna start feeding her flower nutes with an organic additive. What does your blackberry smell like? does it have much frost?.

Blackberry didnt start showing for about 1.5 week after the superbud started gettin frosty but its really pushing for it now
All I know is, my room STINKS!! Its awesome. Havent bothered with the carbin filter this run tho, im growing in my attic conversion and there is no smell outside so dont see the point lol

watered the plants tonight, gave the the super bud's roots a rinse with pH'd water and then gave her another feed at 85% strength. looked a bit yellow but only 2.5 weeks left i think. what about you guys? the cat snuk in behind me lol. wee bitch bit one of the leaves XD seemed to like the smell tho XD its a aa battery btw in the pic


Here is a few of the blackberry. the wife says it smells of berries & cheesey feet. odd but i would agree, lookin forward to its smell when its cured and to somke it ofcourse

That superbud looks like it's getting close. Maybe another 2 weeks for the Blackberry? I'm not too experienced with autos man. They are frosting up nice.

You have a real small pheno with the blackberry, mine is 45cm and still growing upward at 19 days flower. Good luck with the last couple weeks bro.
