Your BEST Plants/Buds of 2017

This thread is a chance for anyone to post their greatest success of 2017 of everything you ran to finish. You may have a top 3, but please no more than 3 and a winner. Also, if you'd like, your ONE worst/ biggest disappointment.

1. Bodhi - More Cowbell. Dank Sinatra F2 is a little more potent, but otherwise my #2 MC was dang near perfect. Easy grow, above avg yield, great stone, and absolutely delicious weed.

2. Basement Dank Genetics - Dank Sinatra F2 #2. Not as tasty, but not bad, and the most potent stone of anything this past year.

3. Brisco County Genetics - Sour Orange Cream. A back deck chuck from 2016 of DNA Sour Cream x Agent Orange, this is orange orange with a great electric high. Only have 3 beans of this left of 6 that were found, but will crack the other 3 to include in a chuck party with Orange Tree BX this coming summer.

The worst - I had a few, but the award goes to:
Bodhi - Soraya. Fluffy buds of low trichs that wasn't close to finishing when chopped at 12 weeks. Only got one girl out of 5 cracked, so not judging the strain, just giving the 'worst of 2017' to this total waste of months.

Rock hard nugs of Crystal covered buds

2 sour power OG (karma squad) great all round.

3 I don’t have a 3 everything else i done sucked!

Worst: golden lemons (dna) no lemon what so ever, about 7 feet tall and 75% of them were none potent fluffy shite!!

1)mothers milk x Iraqi (strayfox tester)-3 beans popped-1 male 1 didnt pop & 1 female-shit is kill-taste like fresh baked cake w/butter nut icing
2)sour dubb x gg#4 (hammerhead)-the best tasting bud ever-sour skittles & chocolate mocha-plant is sorta a pain & low yield or would be #1
3)chem4 pnw cut x starfighter ( strayfox tester)-strayfox's gear is killin it in da lab-pure gas & potent

Straight up mothers milk is one of my favorites. Dense, covered in trichomes, smooth...solidified my love of bodhi

Right on-gotta phone home in early flower now my 1st bodhi gear-stray uses alot of bodhi in his crosses

Hands down was my watermelon zkittles. Flavor and potency hitting hard.

Second is this papaya punch. Sticky as all outdoors and potent.



Honorable mention is this white cherry truffle. Flavor for days. Crack the jar to sniff and the flavor lingers in your mouth all day.

My top 3 for 2017 as follows
#1 Sour Kosher. Exactly as it sounds, mouth watering kosher goodness with sour funk.

#2 Mykotek- dog cage


#3 Karmarado OG


My biggest disappointment was GGG blue diesel freebie from gr8lks.

1. Sunshine Daydream - Bodhi
Soo many different phenos, everyone with a different smell / taste / growth / effect. I prefered he pheno which was dominated by the genes of Appalachia (Green Crack). Sativa like, cerebral high, alot of energy, perception getting focused, and a dreamy trance like feeling. The sunshine was floating through my whole body... It tasted like a sweet blossom and earthy at the same time, had subtones of lime, and a really unique floral smell, something like elderflower. My wife called the buds snow balls, because they were so fucking frosty!
All the other phenos were more dominated by the mother and had a great pain killing effect, I also kept one of these phenos.

2. Tardis - Natural Homegrown Wonders
A mid-thc strain (15%), which is growing really easy. NOTHING is getting me more calm and relaxed like this strain. Only got 1 female out of 5 seeds, but this one was great. Covered in really big chrystals, and even the trim was frostier than most other buds of strains I was running at this time (Jillybean, Agent Orange, Tangie, Chem D x SSDD, Purple Sunshine)! It was really leafy and hard to trim, good stuff to infuse some coconut oil though. Will try some bubble hash next time! And beside the nice effect, it was REALLY tasty. My brother said, he didn‘t smoked anything within the last years, that was so good. A fresh note of lime paired with a „masculine“ touch.

3. Purple Sunshine - Bodhi
Yeah, I have to mention it first. The plant I loved smelled like a woman you wanna f*ck. Like the beauty of a woman as smell in a bud. I really can‘t describe it otherwise. Sadly it lost all this smell during curing, but this may have been my problem. She purpled heavy from week 3 on, but also lost the colours during curing. The strain was really difficult to grow. Soo sensitive to nutes. Had to run em 3 times before I was able to adjust the nutes correctly. Too much N and the plants started to herm fiercely in week 2-3. Didn‘t remeber anything else about them. Got 5 girls out of 6 seeds, but I can only remember the smell of this one BEAUTY! Such a nice memory, that it‘s worth for me to put her on position 3.

Worst: Erdbeerli - Clone Only
Grown as an outdoor strain, but she was just doing nothing. Bad yield, no smell, no taste, yeah nothing... Not what I expected at all. Every other plant I had outdoor was better in every way.

1. Sour kosher by DNA, simply because of her tight dense berry candy taste and killer stone

2. Goji og, super stoney and frosty, I don't think I need to explain why this strain made my top 3

5th element by elemental seeds, good growth, harvest and high with a common kush flavor

The worst include sour blueberry HSO (all 4 seeds produce very average buds and smoke, no good flavors for me), Seedsman's feminized Blueberry (swing and a miss).

Purple Sunshine: This pheno was the one who purpled, and smelled like the most beautiful woman


And here is SSDD#5 (not my keeper). I had a spider mite problem at this point, and killed all plants in the cab:


Will see if I still got pictures out of her first run, when she finished...

1. Ocean grown seeds Dark plasma.
Not a yielder but the nugs were dense, super frosty, potent and tasty. This pheno has a grape soda gasoline smell.
2. Crocket seeds citrus sap.
Super frosty bright green buds, with slight skunk citrus smell.

Top 3 for 2018
1.raindance (gps) smells & tastes like sour skittles 2.purple urkle x cherry cookies (hammerhead) tastes like finger nail polish & red wine,super potent as well3.phone home (bodhi) smells like a 70yr german man's armpit that has never wore deodorant

I work in heavy construction-in the summer when its 95° you can really get good at armpit smells
