Fist off hello to everyone one on the forum glad to be back started as a member in in2006 was away for awhile but now back and have been for about a month. Ok so peep this im out to breakfast with the wife today and get a phone call from a good friend, he tells me that my roommate/ home owner "found my plant and fucked my shit all up" he was giving me a heads up,he also had no clue I was even growing. We live in a beach house me and the wife have the bottom 3 bed room house and the home owner lives in the studio apartment upstairs. So I get home and as soon as I get to the door I can see the glow of my hps bulb, he had went into the spare bedroom which i was using the closet as my grow room and destroyed everything. The most fucked up part about it is all the money in equipment I am gonna loose and this mf er dumped my 5 gallon bucket dirt and plant into my living room all over the carpet which is light tan and stomped on it by the way today was watering day so yea im sure you can imagine, my light was all smashed up hood blub all of it, fans ventilation system, whole deal. My crop blue dream x purple erkle which was starting it 7 week flowering on monday. The house smelled amazing. And the look on my face had to have be breathtaking to say the less and waiting for the police to pull up any minute so with a frantic clean up and moving what could be saved at early harvest I endend up with a little over 2 ozs wet. I still have not talked to the roomate he's been at work which is great cause I had time to get everything out of the house,but im really not sure how im gonna handle things when he gets here cause he broke all my shit and ruined my living room he texted the wife and said we had to be out tomorrow at noon yea ok im gonna need a 30 day notice. I really just wanna beat the shit out of this cannabis killer you know. And really wanna know why the fuck he was in my house anyways. I can't even express the way I feel rite now out of all the years I been growing I have never ran into something like this before.

That sux ass but it is his house I guess. I would confront him and let him know that you don't want to get cops involved. The thing is your a tenant and have rights which he violated, he cannot just come to where you are staying whenever he wants so if he wants to go there its a two way street. get all your stuff out of there what evidence do they really have? They would need a warrant I would think to have any evidence admissable in court. Seems like they could get one with cooperation from homeowner so just get it out. Screw this guy what a twat. Tell him you wouldn't want to live theree anymore and you need your 30 days to find a new place if he wants to be a dick and call the cops, tell him you will have him arrested for trespassing and destruction of private property, it's not his right to destroy your shit. His house jokes on him.

uuhhmmm, not good but firstly can i say, you stated that upon your arrival home you saw the glow from your hps bulb from the door then you go on to say that the landlord smashed your light, hood globe and all, which is it ??? putting that aside, if he tries to evict you, put him in the shit for being inside your home without notice or reason, as for the plant and grow, well, in a court he has to prove it, so good luck to him if you have removed all. Tell him to eat dick and move out somewhere else where your on your own with no landlord. good luck dude, hope karma comes and bites that bloke on the ass.

did the cops ever come? if not then remove all cannabis evidence and snap photos of the destruction, then take HIS ass to court. say you were growing peppers. it's all gonna come down to the fact that if in fact you were growing pot he should have called the police, not dystroyed the place. and if there is no police report about weed then it's your word against his. i bet a good lawyer could spin this lovely and maybe get you some cash in the end. maybe you can find someone who does pro bono work. good luck.

That is a totaly fucked up way to start your New year,But let me say one thing and one thing only as ive told many here on RIU.. I have worked as a rental and lease agent have managed hotel and apartment units as well, UNLESS you and our landlord (ie) roommate hs agreed in written or verbal contract that he or she can enter you living quarters without prior notice of 24 hours or more then it is illegal for them to do s..That goes for roommats as well as any other form of living arrangements,so hey i wish you luck in what comes next but i feel as you do i'd like to f**k that cat up...Peace

Yeah but unless they could prove he had knowledge of it than he wouldn't be held accountable. Still should have confronted you and said he didn't want to have that in his house and to get it out. Pretty obvious he wasn't awre till the incident but he went about it in the wrong way. eiher way as long as you don't get charged than the outcome isn't that bad.

that's not too hard to get around. for one, what was he doing in the house unattended and uninvited to photograph this alleged cannabis? also how can we tell from a photo or video whether or not the alleged cannabis was planted there like a framejob? "your honor, if i were doing something illegal i would think he would go to the police. now i live in fear and wake up screaming twice a night." lol a good lawyer could make very tasty lemonade of this.

It's fucked what that guy did, but he has a right to be mad. If it's his house and the cops find dope growing or even a bag of dope in the house then they can seize the house (in most US states anyway). You'd be out of a place to live but he'd lose the whole house. I'm not justifying what the guy did, but again, he could lose the entire house because of you.

Buy your own house and grow in it. Then if anything ever happens the only person who will take a loss is you.

Hell I would go out and buy a few large tomato plants ,, trash the crap out of them and then call the cops myself... I doubt he took pics... just to cover my ass.($$ carpet damage etc) .. But then again, if you lived under the same roof, with no locks, the guy did have his right to be pissed... good luck on the referral for your new place... you can move in with me if your wife has hot friends or relatives...

Everything I wanna suggest would actually be a terrible idea so I won't say them but... You do what you have to. There are a lot of street punk kid (I hate them btw, but they have there uses) who would do a lot for a bag of pot... just saying. He's a murderer, treat him as such.
