You going from 16 sq ft to 25 sq ft, so (25/16)x14 = 21.87 oz
Ignore the lights. They wont make squat difference.
I think he means that both lights give about the same intensity in that space. 1000w/25sqft= 40watts per square feet. 600w/16sqft=37.5 watts per square foot. Why won't the 1000hps make a difference?

if you improve your growing, 1 gram per watt under HPS is easily doable. so you should be getting closer to 21 zips under the 600Say I'm getting 14ozs in the 4x4 tent under a 600 hps

300 grams to 600 grams under the 600w, 500 grams to 1000 grmas under the 1000w. Depending on grower skill.
Here's a video of a 600 watt and 1000 watt LED from the same manufacturer. They produced in proportion to the wattage:

Need about 8" minimum under my 1000's. (Edit...se. air cooled hoods.)I should change out my 600 to a 1000 in 1 tent. My tents are only 6 feet tall bc my basement isn't that tall. How many more inches do you usually have to keep a 1000 watt away from the canopy compared to a 600 watt.
You should optimize your 600 before moving to 1k. It’s a big difference heat and light wise. When you’re pulling more than 600 grams from your 600 in your 4x4, get a 1k for the 4x4, when you can’t fit anymore weed in your 4x4, get a 5x5...

if you run CO2 and maximize your enviro, i think it's doable. don't sell yourself short.I wouldn't say 1 gram per watt is easily doable, I'm not sure anyone else would say that either... I can get .75 with a good yielding strain.
