Yellowing Leaf/Brown Tips Dry

Heres my problem. Over the past few days I havent seen her reach for the light (cfls) like she normally does..sometimes I would have to go in there and kind of fan her out with my hands and now i dont have to. Now that shes not responding...the lower part of my canopy is starting to fade yellow (smaller leaves) and brown edges / drying up. All the bigger/new leaves are fine and green. Is this normal? Should she always be responding to the light?? I mean ive used lst on her again and the stem came back up as if it was responding to it. Weird.

The leaves are kind of droopy but NO way its an over water droop. Ill take a pic. I water that 12'' pot (width) every week. And I barely give it water. Maybe its just thirsty.

checked on it this morning and the yellowing is not getting better. The bottom is starting to brown a bit and dry up really fast. I wonder if I veg'd it to long?? Maybe shes thirsty. Im sure its not nute burn I feed it 5-2-5 every other watering, but it wasnt quite diluted as I wanted it to be. Either way it doesnt look like a burn. The yellowing started few days ago and is working its way up. Any help would be appreciated!!!!! You can look at my journal and kind of picture just the bottom yellow..working its way up

If in doubt flush the hell out of them and see if that helps. And id drop your ph to about 6.0. Im thinking that you also might be locked up with a run off of 7.0 most plants cant take up the nute's at that ph. and if your still in those pot's Id maybe trans plant to a bigger planter. that should take care of it no matter what the problem. unless its a bug problem, but it doesnt seem to be a critter thing. but definatly flush before any thing, probly with water with the ph of 5.5 should bring it down flush untell the run off is at your desired ph.

What kind of water runs with a ph of 5.5?? My ph has always been 7 after nutes and told that it was fine. I dont know if you have seen my journal but my pot is freakin huge. Its more then a 3gal!! Ive flushed this bad boy before and started FRESH with BMO 5-2-5 nutes instead of walmart bullshit.

The water I use is aquafina and ive never had a problem with it. How could I possibly lower ph if its a nute lockout??

Ill get pics soon. If you look at my journal they were all perky. Not only are they yellow but they seem to be a LITTLE droopy...not "over water" droopy, if that makes sense. Ive seen over-watered plants and this is nothign like it. Everything is green on still but ill try to get a pic to see if ai need a flush. Ive already switched to 12/12 and bout to start new nutes..maybe I should flush first.

Edit: Thats the thing, I might be under-watering and need to give them a little perk. Maybe some misting or better run off. My ph has always been the same.

lower ph with dolomite lime, vinager, citric acid, ph down products. If you lower your ph on the water going in it will flush the salts down to that leval keep flushing untell your runoff is at a lower ph, and aquafena water has chloren in it, in case you were unaware of it.

Well the water out of the faucet has sulfur, either way im fucked =P. Aquafina doesnt have much chlorine, to be honest with you I have used it in my entire grow (6-8 week veg) and never had a problem. Ive been told by many experience grower (not saying you are not one) that aquafina is absolutely okay...but expensive, and almost pointless, since you can go buy those big ass 5gal @ walmart.

Dolomite lime, is that something I can get from walmart? Are you talking about that "Garden Lime". I cant get my hands on pH product friend...I live in the dirty south with no nurseries like most folks. Man this will be my second flush b/c of a possible nute burn...I checked on her this morning and she still kind of drooping..I have no idea whats going on.

Edit: I gave her a little misting...I havent done that since I first had her lol. Maybe shes hungry and needs a little drink. I dont water to well in my 3gal buckets is my problem. Ill get run off but not alot.

That, underwatering, is my more then likely my problem. I think ive been veg'n for to long and its just wanting nitrogen up the ass. I know a DROOPY over-watered plant..I had to get rid of one. This one just seems like it needs a little boost...some leafs standing up some not..odd. Thanks boneman

EDIT: That dolomite lime puts ur ph at 7. Its more like a stabalizer. Think im going to need some more input guys! We will see what happens when the lights turn on after I gave them a little misting, hopefully they will purk back up.

It shouldnt matter how long you veg for, the more you veg the stronger the plant will be to go into bloom.
How about your environment could your temps be spiking? for extreme measures you could start cutting the dead leaves off slowly.
Ive had nothing but problems like this ever since i started growing, but i can always bring them back, just trying to help.

Thanks ill look into vinegar buddy. In my journal on page 3 or 4 you can see how the LST + veg'n for 6-8 weeks has been GREAT to my girl. First page shows how I first got her and trimmed her up + LST.

The enviroment is fine:
Temps - 68/85 (sometimes it gets 85 but my lights turn off in the morning due to climate weather..gets hottt).
Humidity - 40/50, at night it sometimes gets between 30-39.

I know you dont have much time but the journal below shows what I use and such. These problems are just occuring so hopefully things will change. Thanks candy.

whats the roots look like? if its not water.light or air..also could be lack of nutes..kinda weak.throw some nitrogen in there.i bet she'L pick up.

Shes flowering now so I am going to add some nutes but they dont contain lots of nitrogen. BMO 1-8-7. I know shes really thirsty because the younger leaves that are coming in are yellow and very dry, brittle, i could crush them. Thx lazy

just letting you know that you should always maintain a ph between 5.6 and 6.3 otherwise you WILL have nute deficiencies, and this is prolly the case. of course it will work while the plant is still young it will grow great, but once the plant starts needing more nutes like magnesium, then you will have issues. as with, magnesium which can not be absorbed adequetly through the root system with a water that has a ph of over 6.3...http://www.gardenscure.com/420/attachments/plant-nursery/167412d1147031941-nute-deficency-nute-burn-ph-nutrient-availability.gif

Thanks for the link, thats actually a really good one. My pH is below 7 man im pretty sure of it. I use a liquid test but it was alot lighter then the shaded neutral color. I understand that it does change when you add but if I can just keep it under 7 I should be fine. I have no source of getting things to fluctuate the pH. Dolomite is more like a stabalizer and theres no shops around here. Thanks for the info.
