Yellowing, dying leaves week 5 flowering

Hi, I'm in week 5 out of 9 in flowering and my white rhino has been showing yellowing leaves the past few days, and now they are starting to fall off. I'm growing in fox farm ocean forest soil in a 4 gallon pot. I have been feeding her general hydroponics go box every second feeding. I know the ph is not the problem. Could it be a nitrogen dificdntcy? I haven't given her any high nitrogen nutrients since veg. I attached some pics.

Hi, yes I think it is nitrogen def. Try to give more.

The early onset of yellow out, do to the TO EARLY use of so called "bloom" foods!

You can throw all the extra N you want at it - won't fix shit!

Next run. DO NOT start "bloom" nutrient till week 3 after the flip and see what happens then.....You will be much happier!

Flushing will not help either......

I have to ask.
How do you "know" pH is not the problem?
Organics eh? Go box eh?

I'll bet dimes to dollars it has a part in this...

There was another thread with similar bronzy leaves where it was suggested it was due to cold temps (plant producing fall colors). Does your plant experience cold temperatures at night?

I would say N has been reduced too much too. But, the bronzy stuff looks odd.

N def starts top down - not bottom up!

P tox from early feeding bloom nutes....I know I'm right because you can see the elevated K levels (bronzy stuff) too! That points straight to over use of bloom nutes. THAT is mostly caused by starting the use of bloom feeds at the flip - to early! NO "high" P&K bloom feeds till week 3 with ANY liquid feed...OR soluble for that matter.

In a way it was N limited.....It needed that extra N from veg feeds for those 2 weeks of stretch!


The plant should finish out alright......Adjust on the next run and see for yourself!

Hey bro! Just to share with ya.
Yes cold does express colors that way - nice question for that value.
The thing is that K does the same thing - When done together, you can get very rich and deep coloring...once you dial the combination in!

I say it's bloom feeding because it shows exactly the result of early P&K enhancement. It (plant) thinks it's further along then it is from the high P uptake and is using more N from the plant then up taking it. The color expression and bronzy look point straight to the elevated K.......so then - early use of high P&K bloom foods is indicated.

A little more N MIGHT slow down the progression but, only if the PK is reduced for say maybe a week.....With it having around 4 weeks left it would be slightly risky to try that now but could slow the progression for a better yield.

The use of Si from the start of the run will help regulate P uptake......The plant stores P and when that limit is reached - boom P tox starts....The higher the P content of the feed - the faster it takes over.
