Plants are 8 days old (sowed 17-March-2011).
transplanted them into larger pots 3 days ago from jiffy pellets (22-March-2011)
Under 360 watts hid 1.5 ft above them
Soil is FFOF

Problem:

One seedling is showing yellowing on leaves.
Others are slightly yellow.

It is very unlikely that this is caused by nutrient deficiency, so it is probably due to over watering. Maybe transplant shock, but I have never actually experience this myself. A little more information would help.

Were they yellowing before you transplanted?
What is the watering schedule?
Do you know the PPM and pH of your water?

It seems that only the one has any issue worth noting.

No they weren't...

What is the watering schedule?

I water once a day with RO water.

Do you know the PPM and pH of your water?

I don't know the PPM or pH of the water

I think it's nute burn... (from the soil and too much water)

that i can see the one to the left of center has had a bit of the same problem.... and possibly the lower one too, but the center one is the worst....

can you find anything on here.... note towards the bottom of this post and read what it says under "Miscellaneous Sick Plant Troubles"

you might have a light hot spot ph is super important jiffy tends to be alkaline
i'd agree with this poster, if you have a hotspot under the lights then some might be getting affected while others arent, or more so, or less so...etc.

r u sure the temp is stable throught your grow enviroment?

since the new growth isn't yellow ( i think) the problme may have corrected itself in which case do nothing... have you ever watered with really cold water??? or really hot water???....

thanks for the help sputniknz:

the water I use is at 72 degrees...

I am pretty sure it is a nute burn from FFOF... it's just too much for the seedling...
