Ok well i was looking at my plant today and i stuck my finger in the soil to see if the soil was still moist and i found an earth worm in the soil....how in gods name is this even possible?? and is this good or bad?
did you buy your soil? Or did you do it yourself? Who knows how it got there lol, it could have been crawling toward it for weeks lol. But now that the little guy is there you shouldn't move him, he will probably be good fo' your plants.
ya the soil im using is from home depot...organic bag soil, idk ill let him chill there it was just kind of a shock when you go to stick your finger in soil that you think is just soil and see some slimy thing wiggle over your finger
Keep him! he is your and your plants friend. He will airate your soil and poo nutrient rich worm poo your plant will love him. The Hardcore organic growres out there will add them in with thier soil along with other benificial bugs like ladybugs
There very will could be more of them. Try not to use strong chemical based nutes or that might kill them. Stay with an organic fertilizer if you can. if not, oh well. I uderstand you feed them what you got
you will still need to feed them though. the worm casting will not be enough by themselfs. just go weaker. if you see they need more or less then you can add
It will be fine for veg. just be carful with it. dont add too much. you are going to want to chang them for flowering somthing with little or no nitrogen
if you have acsees to a hydroponics store I would reccomed Pure blend pro. but Just ask they guy a the store what the best is to flower. nitrogen is the first number 8-7-6
hey thats pretty good post.. i just learned somthing about the night crawler earth worm.. for organic plants is this worm poo about the same as bat poo... or is bat poo better..
they are bothe great but have differnt nutient qualities. worm poo is hight in Nitrogen and bat poo is higher in potasium. depending on spices of bat aswell
