Wow Close Call..

It is late here..can't sleep..so I got up and I felt like getting a slurpee from 7-Eleven. As I was leaving the parking lot low and behold, there's some state trooper and being the crazy driver I am I didnt see him until he turned his lights on and I cut him off lol I felt so stupid. He said "you have anything to drink or under the influence of anything that we should know about?" and him and this other cop that showed up had reason to believe I was so he they checked my eyes and concluded I was fine. I was HIGH as hell and just tried to play it cool and it worked! it was a really close call.

I guess having these narrow eyes is a god given gift after all! haha Might I add it's damn near a given that you're either A.) getting a fat fine everytime you get pulled over by the State Patrol, and or B.) You're going to Jail. There's never an in between or letting "you go" without something the way they see it and people in Washington State know that too well.

eek, that can totally ruin a day. lucky you got off. I had to cry and beg last time i got pulled over. my insurance is so ridiculously high.

Lucky u got some slack-ass cops,in my country -(Australia) if u get pulled over for ANY reason u at least get breath tested and its up to their judgement if u get the tongue scraper (which tests for weed,narcotics...etc)

I think thats how it is with staties everywhere......

I had a smile on my face the whole time and made them laugh and crack a few jokes. But maybe next time I won't be so lucky..I can't be too careless. I can maintain just fine when im high driving as I am sober. Sometimes I think it's fun to go on road trips too. My car was definitely made for having fun. I have a 2006 Pontiac GTO.

Well they're trying to make it a felony for drinking and driving I heard last here in our State..I dont think there's a bill active for that though currently or even in the house for passing..only thing I was drinking a was this big-ass 40 ounce Coke Slurpee..I had just smoked a J before hand so I lucked out totally..I guess my body spray covered that up well too.

I'm guessing you're from Alaska by the way you said "State Trooper's", possibly WA. Either way, thats legit. I'm white, and my bff is Asian. She would be so lucky to have such a close call.

I passed a DUI test only to fail on the breathalyser, 0.21 BAC.

I was wondering while wandering down a road in the rockies tripping balls on shrooms at like 2 am and got "questioned." Red Dragon, Blue Dragon, Red Dragon, Blue Dragon. That's what the police lights looked like as they spun around behind his shoulders as he gazed into my pupils with his trusty maglite. "Have a good night" he says.

I had literally JUST taken a hit and I get pulled over for a tail light. I had just gone to court over the DUI shit... so I had all my papers everywhere. Took me a while to find all the documents. I was PARCHED... had to do a sobriety test. Passed. Fix-it ticket issued.

Just don't be a slob.

Good work with the squinties. Go figure that you, of all people, would cut someone off...

I got a DUI last year, spent the night in jail 2 weeks before my 21st bday headed back from San Fran to LA on the 5 around midnight after i drank 3 four loco's, clocked at 111mph with a friend... lesson learned, $3,200 later.

Its such a big grey area over here regarding cannabis and driving,it is an offence first of all but the problem is there is no way of determining a low-mid-high range offence.

So there is no differenciating between somebody who has had a joint after a hard days work 23hrs before and somebody who has just pulled 184 cones 5 minutes ago and is completely blazed.

My friend has a terrible driving record. DUI's and 24 hour suspensions galore.

One day, he has to go to court. He gets his license revoked for 30 days. Walks out of the courthouse, hops in his car and drives to the liquor store. Goes home, has a shower and starts to drive to his girlfriend's house......already pretty much pissed at this point.
This was in the summer, so he had his windows down, and a gust of wind blows a paper out the window.....right as he passes a squad car.
He tries reaching for, and grabbing the paper, but misses it. The cop sees it from a slightly different angle....he sees him throw this paper out the window.

Pulls him over for littering. Asks for license....uh oh. Asks if he's been drinking....uh oh. Asks why he threw the paper out, and my friend argues with him saying it was an important piece of paper that he didn't throw out, but it blew out the window. The paper was actually in sight, so the cop walked back and got it.

Gets up the car, and nearly shit on my buddy's head. The paper that flew out the window was the court order....from earlier that morning....that prohibits him from driving.

So........a month or so later he is back in court........lost his license for 3 years.

Fucking idiot......but what happened was kinda funny, almost poetic.

You are a lucky person. I live in WA also, the troopers here can be such dicks. All I can repeat is that you are lucky! Good Job!!
