Would You Say This Is Normal Bud Growth?

I switched my plants to 12/12 on July 14th. They showed sex around the 19/20th of July, and this is them now.

Do these looks normal for ~20 days of flowering? I'm only talking about the front two plants, which I have fed nothing but pond water (pond has a lot of fish) throughout the entire grow. I just transfered them into larger containers with some bone meal (6-9-0), so hopefully they don't get stressed/eat that phosphorous

more or less what mine looked like at that age. Get your grip on some Fox Farms nutes or add molasses.

Yeah, they look pretty good to me. They also look pretty healthy, so if you don't have any major problems you should have some good smoke coming, in the near future.

Well I added some 6-9-0 bone meal to the soil mix.

What is the purpose of molasses? I have this stuff called 'Sweet', by botanicare, it is a organic carbohydrate synthesizer (0-0-0), is that the same as molasses?

I am just going for taste over yield, so I'm trying to stay away from anything chemical.

Good call on avoiding chemicals, don't want your project to taste like ass. I believe, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, that Sweet is basically a commercialized version of molasses specifically designed for our needs. I usually just use Fox Farm Tiger or Big Bloom and give them a shot or two of molasses (1 tblspn per gallon of water) during flowering. Good luck, looks tasty enough from the pics.
