Would this work?

HI people...having now nearly finished my 2nd grow..all good some pics to come, i have now reached the point where its plainly obvious that anything from about 12 inches or so down from the top of the plant doesnt get any light thus not alot of buds just branches, leaves tiny buds etc....now the more expierienced of you would already know this i just wanna get the best i can out of each grow...so i got in touch with a friend of mine and he told me about this and swears by it....

He says instead of growing 6-8 big plants with shit loads of waste get a new white plastic cover thingy for my hydro tank and cut holes in it about 6 inches apart and make the holes big enough for 1 inch cubes only...This means i would roughly have about 30 plants ish..maybe more....

In the meantime take some cuttings of my bushy as fuck AK 47 ladies...mmm..and go through the usual routine..pop them in the hydro tank..

Now then... he says give them 24 hours of light for 7-8 days...Then strip off everything on the bottom third of the plants...flip em to 12-12 and ill end up with 30 or so plants with 1 main bud in the centre and the two side arms as usual just smaller each plant maybe weighing 3/4 to 1 ounce each...now this sounds right to me and i think in the past i read something similer Sea of green rings a bell? So if any of you expierienced growers can help here and tell me what you think and throw your opinion in the mixer that would be great. cheers.

i know some people doing this and it works for a constant supply of weed but...... how they deal with you in court when you have SOG set up is harsher( because its constant) check it out. how ilegal is marijuana to grow?
they look at sophistication aswell as 200 empty bags of soil and fert bottles so just a few things to consider before you do it.
a couple of plants can be personal use and isnt as likley to get a jail sentence(depending on previous/medical records) but anything else and you could be looking at a stretch, this is probably only worth it on a bigger scale or if you have little chance of being busted.
but you probably wont be unhappy with the results and less waiting inbetween yields so if you dont live next to a police station or have no bad neighbours Do it. i just takes a little more preperation as you will have read already(different shelves and so on.)

mmmm cheers for that joe think ill stick with what i do except i wont veg them for long maybe a week and trim all the lower branches off them before i flip them this i think will cut down all the extra shite i get down below..

you may want to view Mogie's post on Screen of Green method. I know I am going to try it. There have been others that have posted similar information. Several seed companies have information available about SOG also.
