would this work for just one plant?

hey people i saw http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/225-LED-Red-Blue-Hydroponic-Lamp-Plant-Grow-Light-UK-/360280765534?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_HomeGarden_Garden_PlantsSeedsBulbs_JN&hash=item53e268345e on ebay and im wondering anybody has used one/a few of these..

i dont think it has the watts listed..

please comment with your expierience positive/negetive ect.

i only would want to use this for 1 mother plant but i dont know if it is enough..?

If I was you i would send them a message asking how many watts it is. Cause a 90 watt hps is equivalent to around a 400watt hps. And a 400watt hps will grow you 5 or 10 plants of medium size.

would be fine for one small plant

Don't waste your money on LEDs unless you plan on spending a lot for a really good one. Even then you won't get as good a quality as with H.I.D. lighting. I know a lot of people will argue with me on this, but it's all about light penetration. My partner has done side-by-sides in very well controlled environments on this. 6, yes 6, 90 watt UFOs vs. 1, 400 watt HPS, and the yield from the LEDs was right around 60% of what the HPS put out. LEDs will one day take over grow lighting, but as of now the little 1 and 3 watt LED nodes just aren't up to par.

the one i want is around 3500 bucks until they drop in price my 600 hps works just fine. but like i said fine for one small plant because of the limited ability for penetration.

would it be enough for 1 plant.....yes. I gotta agree with mouth though. from what i've seen with my own 2 eyes LED just isn't quite there yet. yes you can grow with them. yes you can get decent buds. But for the money HID is a way better investment right now. Just make sure you can handle the temps!

i think ive bought the led set up your on about i got mine off ebay its ok but i ended up usin it with cfls aswell cuz it not great on its own you need to spend money on some top quality ones otherwise its pointless unless you use them with cfls,hps,HID etc in a few yrs the will be the way forward but there just not quite there yet but watch this space

dont bother with LED's, search for grow journals you can see for yourself

i go 400watt M.H. then HPS for flowering... i dont like the LEDS waist of money time and watts ! your plants deserve the best buy the 1000 watters ! but if you only growing one plant go ahead and buy 250 watt Mh
