would this be reasonable?

How many plants should I scrog in an area that is 38" long, and 20". I was thinking 4 at fiirst, but then I saw how bushy some people get there plants, so now I'm thinking 2, maybe 3. Any advice? Also, the box s 36" high, 3 ft., I wanted to get the canopy like 70% filled then flower, but at what height should I have the canopy before I flower.

Lastly, In order to grow this, I will be using 10 x 23W CFLs, of correct spectrums for each phase, and also a 100W HPS, do you feel that will be sufficient light?

i'm not into cfl's so i don't have any advice for you there. are you starting from clone or seed? i would probably run 3 plants in that area from clone, may be 4 for seed. what strain are you growing? how much room is there for vertical growth. you said your box is 3 ft high but that doesn't tell me much if i don't know what ur plants are in. how far is the screen above the medium and from the screen how much room is there for vertical growth?

these will be started from seed, and the strain is 90/10 in favor of indica. I can adjust the screen height to w/e I want, so basically my vertical space is optional. From the ground to the tip of the lights is 3ft. Maybe 4 plants in 2 gallon pots (soil)?

how much room does that make it from the top of the medium to the highest point they will be able to grow w/o being burned by the light? 4 plants would probably be pushing it even from seed. you really only have so much room for colas, so how many colas per plant do you want to grow. i also noticed doing my scrog unless you are flowering way early i wouldn't put a nde in every hole of the screen. so many of mine were drowned right from the beginning because there simply wasn't room for all of them. what i would recommend is staggering them every other hole in the screen, do the math and figure out how many colas this will be and decided how many plants you wanna go with.
