would this be ok to do?

Hello all, i have a question about harvesting... I bought a pocket microscope today and found that my main cola is pretty much all cloudy with just a few amber trichs, BUT all the other buds are about 40 to 50 percent cloudy but the other trichs on the lower buds are still clear. I am wondering if i can cut down the main cola but still leave all the other buds on the plant for another week or two. I dont know if it will work but im noticing that the branch going up to the main cola is starting to turn brown the closer it gets to the top and i dont want to lose the main cola to rot. any help would be great.

cut the main cola off, this will not be a problem. many smaller growers do thia to make sure all of their bud gets fully mature, just dont cut off more than 50% of the plant at once. just make sure you dont get impatient and flash dry it. happy smoking, late
