Would plant yeild less if light cycle altered?

I want to change the (12 hour off) at night and (12 hour on) at day light cycle for my flowering. I want to change the cycle to (12 hour on) at night and (12 hour off) at day because it is cooler and would help in the cooling costs if we could switch the light cycle. Would it stress the plants out and yield less? Or would the altercation be worth it?

The change won't hurt at this time and the plant will adjust if this change is infrequent. Just leave the lights on until the new time for the off cycle comes up, then continue with the new cycle at 12/12. Or you could do just the opposite and leave the plant in the dark until the new day period starts then continue the new 12/12 schedule.

rasta is correct. The 24 hours of light could trigger it into thinking go back to veg. Stay with keeping the lights off until your new light cycle. I have done this before with no problems. Word of advice, plane everything in the future. Think of every single detail before you grow and then it will all be automatic.
