Would anyone recommend these fans?

They seem like a good deal, they're both honeywells, but I was wondering if they would put out enough air so I could use them for a secondary intake/exhaust setup in a cabinet. They're both pretty inexpensive, about 12 bucks...let me know. thanks in advance.

They would throw enough air to be the only exhaust in most boxes. Enough to exhaust a full size closet and a 400w hps.

that sounds about what i would need...it's going in a 4'x4'x2' and I plan on sticking a 150w hps in it in addition to the 8 cfls that are there now...I'm having issues now keeping the temps below 85.

I had one in college. I used it to exhaust my dorm room when I was a chain smoker. They work really well for the size, but can be loud at the highest setting. They had no problem keeping my 6' 10' dorm room smoke free.

These are great fans!

Get a couple of molly/anchor bolts and mount the fan to the ceiling upside down, that's what my buddy did!

I got one of these for exhaust into my room, gets the job done and not too loud
