would a transplant from 7 gal to 30 gal right now be overkill................?

i got a vigorous kiling field strain, i ran it inside before and its a keeper for sure, its in a 7 gal smart pot and i called my hydroshop askin for a 15 or 20 gal and they said all they got is a 30 for $12 which anit bad at all, i juss wanna be sure that i dont waste half the soil + its a regular backyard and i dont wanna stand out too much but i feel they would explode with a transplant as its sativa dom and grows and yields very well

I'd go with it. It will provide more room for root growth, and imo it provides more stability with a larger pot.

I went from a 5 gal pot to a 50gal smart pot. You'll be good jus dont water to heavily until it gets bigger.

My whole grow is in 30gallon pots and they a doing really good.
