ph problems.. what kinda system was this in?
No not even close. I love how the first answer is always "ph problems". I grew plants that i didn't ph at all most of the whole grow cycle in hydro with no problems.

to the OP: Looks like a mag def i was gonna say cal/mag but the discoloration is in strides not spots. SO maybe some nute burn as well?

Edit: Not that i look at it a lil closer i think it is a cal/mag def .

Well... to properly diagnose were going to actually know more information on your grow.
Even though both reply's could of been the cause without proper information were just speculating.

What you feeding? Soil? Hydro? Age? What part of the plant? ect.. The more info we'll be able to help out!

Thats because alot of the times thats the best place to start looking and ruling things out. I do agree though it would of been better for him to ask about ph before saying its the problem as at best its an educated guess. how many grows did you do before the one where you didnt check ph? if youve got it dialed in really you shouldnt have to do it at all.

A cal/mag deficiency can lock out P, K, and each other. I'd say you need cal/mag. I hate trying to diagnose by photos. The plant depends on Calcium and magnesium to take up Phosphorus and Potassium. Nutes are SO inter-dependent on each other and dependent on pH it'll give ya a brain ache trying to figure it out.
I DO check it and rule out pH tho.. even in organic soil which doesn't really drift. Just to be safe.
Blaming everything on pH without checking is just really saying "I don't have a clue whats wrong"
suTra, my first few grows I had a chronic cal/mag def that started out just like that. (I listened also to those who told me I had to use RO water) I listened to the pH blamers and lost most of the crops to it. It only took me three grows to figure THAT one out!!!! Hopefully, this one will figure ot out just a bit sooner!! LOL.
