World's greatest dog toy

My short little dog lies defeated and sleeping after confronting the world's greatest dog toy. It's called extreme kong. He's a dash hound (weiner dog) and has destroyed every dog toy imaginable. He grabs a hold and just destroys it but not the kong. He was at it for about 4 hours and gave in to exaustion. He has also destroyed non dog toy's like a hockey puck (chipped it down) and a hockey ball that lasted 15 minutes and a rubber sanding block. If anyone here has a destructive chewer I highly recomend it.

My dog DESTROYED a extreme Kong in about 2 to 3 hours. So now i just give him Car tires. He is a 120 pound all white pit by the way.

yea my 13 month old south african mastiff can anhiliate anything u throw at her. black kongs included. i recommend the nylabone galilleo bone as it has free replacement (less S&H) as well as the Black Goughnuts (free replacement less S&H). i just picked up a cow bone aka mammoth bone, one of the knuckles was gone within 20 minutes, but its intact for the most part.

my dog doesnt like hard toys. stuffed animals, ropes, bones. he hates tennis balls but will chase and bring back half of a tennis ball. my sisters dog destroyed an extreme kong in an hour or 2. then 5 hours later puked up the giant pieces that it swallowed

I stick cookies in the hole on my dogs kong, and she just works away at it trying to get it out. She cant tear them apart, not really that big (71 lbs)

We used to have a 'Dental Kong' for our black Lab, it's a round kong w/spikes to clean between their teeth. It disappeared years ago. Low and behold, last week I'm mowing with my tractor down along the drive when BOOM ! I launch this old kong about 150'. It's weathered but still intact. Our Lab is 11 yrs old now and I'm watching him goin down hill, it's sad, we've been on many adventures.

LOL - I put some peanut butter mixed with dog food in mine and then freeze it and give it to my dog.

I have a question for you guys with extreme chewers. How much exercise does your dog get? A lot of heavy chewers are just trying to rid themselves of excess energy.

This is the big black Extreme Kong that you are talking about right? I have 2 Labs that destroy them. They shred them. Same with hockey pucks, wood, tires, anything. I have sent 4 of them back to Kong for refunds. I won't buy another one. The only thing I find that lasts a long time are cow bones. These last forever and they love them. :)

Have you used that squirt stuff that you can put inside of the Kong, looks like cheez wiz but it's liver flavored!

Bones are the one thing I cant give my dog, she friggin breaks them apart and tries to eat it. I dont wanna risk her cutting something open on the inside.

and the frozen peanute butter and dog food is a good idea inside a kong haha. Its hilarious watching my dog try to get it out, she just keeps licking it for like an hour.

I get the hard femur bones full of marrow. Once they get all the marrow out I can shove peanut butter in there. They don't really break these unless they drop on a hard surface. They are almost impossible for them to crack or splinter them. I have tried so many things for them and these I find work the best and keep them occupied. :peace:

You can get them at pet shops, they can come smoked even with different flavors. Rollover makes one shoved full of it, I have even seen them at walmart. They are big, for large dogs, lol. :peace:
