can I trim leaves of the top cola (60 days on 12/12)if there are too many? Will it hurt her in anyway?

Well I have a problem that I put on other posts. One of the 7 plants i have has been 12/12 for 60 days. Its growing 4 leaves on top of the main bud and it doesnt look like its growing out the bud just the top weird looking leaves. i never seen this before
