Will this song bird sing, or what? Propper Budding? Pics Inside

Hey guys. So I am still working on my first plant. Indoor growing, she's in her 3rd 1/2 week, and I am not sure if the bud is growing correctly. Although she seems quite healthy (leaves are a nice hunter green color), all I notice are hairs growing, more nodes, ect. But although the hairs are producing nicely AND turning brown, I don't feel the plant is anywhere close to where it's supposed to be. Now this is in comparison to my general research online.

Please take a look at my pics, let me know if you notice anything weird. She was vegged for a month (4x26W CFL's Ultra Bright White) and now is around the corner on her fourth week of flowering (3x 26Watt CFL Warm/Amber Light).

I am not sure if this could be possibly a case flaw. As I have my cabinet split into two, 1 side for flowering, 1 side for vegging. The light that escapes into the flowering section is quite minimal, but I don't think it'd hinder root growth or budding.... or would it? Any help is appreciated. Thanks! :bigjoint:

You will want to fix those light leaks. From what I can understand from your setup, that is the first logical culprit. The plant does look like it is behind and depending on the strain is probably lagging behind where it would have been with a proper 12 hour dark period. A small tweak like that can make all the difference in the world. Light leaks can also contribute to a plant posessing both sexes.

Yup, it looks like re-veg stress to me. What I think happened was you put it into flowering and the light leak made it try to re-veg which has caused stress. Gotta fix the light leakage.

Ok, thanks for the advise. For the past few days I have been simply taking it OUT of cabinet for the 12 off. Will she still bud ok, despite the stress?? Can I continue on with this plant as long as the light leak is fixed, or I take it out of the cabinet? She still salvagable? Please let me know! :wall:

Awesome, I'll cut back the nuts, keep it in a dark spot for 12, and put it back in for 12. I'll properly fix the cabinet soon. Thanks for all the input guys!
