Will this setup work??

I'm going to be growing in a closet. I only have room to grow one plant at a time and I'm planing on vegging the plant to 1 foot then putting it into flowering.

Lighting: 4 26 watt 6500k cfl's for vegging. For flowering I'm going to be using 3 2700k cfl's and 1 6500k cfl

Soil: can't remember the name at the moment.... It's 100% organic soil and it's premium quality too.

Nutrients: For vegging I'm going to be using jacks classic 20-20-20 all purpose plant food. And for flowering I'm going to be using jacks classic bloom booster 10-30-20.

Do you guys think this will be good enough for a 1 foot plant?

feedback is really appriciated, you guys are the best. Oh I forgot to mention this is my very first time growing.

That should be plenty of light and nutes to see the job through. Be sure to get a timer obviously and make sure your closet is completely pitch black when closed.

You'll need a fan to keep your temps down. Those 6500k's get pretty warm.

4 2700k cfl's put my temp at 78. Switched out two for 6500k's and my temps went to 98 and burnt my babies!

keep the 6500ks in with the rest when you flower. the ratio i gave b4 is not absolute law, just a reccomendation., the more light the better, no matter the spectrum. you'll still have the full spectrum going . thats good enough.

flat white paint is also a good reflector. thats what i use, then you dont gotta worry about cleaning the mylar or whatever and keep the surface perfectly flat.also- do not use tim or aluminum foil, they are poor reflectors and cause hotspots.

quick question. is switching to 2700k absolutely necessary? what would happen if I just used 4 6500k's for flowering and no 2700k's?

well so many people swear by setting the lights up different but if you have the full spectrum going on you don't really have to change lighting it will just make more if you do..

i agree with dark destruction, dont remove the veg lights when you go to flower, just add your flower lights, more is better. just watch your temps. good luck on your grow, cfls can grow sweet plants when done right. sounds like you have a good plan, good luck
