Its an EcoSmart 42 watt (150 watt equivalent) with 2600 lumens and 2700k.

I'm an outdoor grower, but I want to try my luck indoor during the cold months.

Got 10 regular seeds each:

DieselRyder
Lowryder
Short Stuff
ak-47
Thanks alot for any help!

42w will be ok for seedling stage you may want to get a 100-300w CFL to be honest 2700k. Anything between the 100-300w will be sufficient just up to how many plants you want to grow at once etc.

So you have 8x 42w? Overall 336w?
Yes, I have 8 of these 42 watt bulbs but the pack says 150 watt output each. I just dont know what I'm doing. Seems like the more I read about them, the more confused I get. Like I said I'm an outdoor grower.

I bought 6 - 23 watt - 2700k - 1600 lumen bulbs made by greenlite off ebay that puts out 100 watts each. All 6 together they were advertised as 600 watts.
I paid 43.00 shipped for those.

Ignore what the output is. All you have to go by is the usage in Watts. if you got 8 then you have more then enough for a good amount of plants. you need 6400k's for vegging and 2700k for flowering. I will be honest im no expert so best getting better advice and better explanation from someone more of an expert then me. This will just give you a basic idea :) Hope it helps. Im on my first grow but if you have any questions I will try and help :)
