well, today is the big day for NJ med MJ...everyone please take a second to cross your fingers for all those who have been on the frontlines of the war against the war on weed. its been a long road
thats so exciting! i wish the best for cali! you guys are the pioneer state as far as im concerned. lead the way! we all need a great example and accomlished the mission stateGood luck NJ!
California votes on full legalization tomorrow.
who would have thought we would see the day this would happen! that is so awesome...i bet there is gonna be alot of ppl that arent gonna sleep well tonight!...hell, thats better than christmas eve!I'm all antsy to find out how it turns out. If it passes weed will be just like alcohol with commercial licenses and retail sales. Each person over 21 will also be able to have 10 mature plants at any time (that's 20 plants for a married couple) for personal use. All for a $50oz., or $1.80g, tax. Fair trade off.
its sometime next winter but you guys have a good chance of passing...i bet in the next 5 years we are gonna see alot of states coming to their sensesGood luck Nj. Nc doesnt vote on medical till november or something like that
I'm not some hippie or long time pot smoker... But to me , the fact that growing a plant is ILLEGAL is nonsense. Whether the plant is dangerous or not, it should never be illegal to grow something that naturally exists on this earth. EVEN if it WAS dangerous, the choices that we make for ourselves should be exactly that... What we put in our a bodies is our own choice, it should only matter when it starts putting other peoples lives at risk, and as far as I'm concerned, marijuana is a long ways away from that. As Ron Paul said, the constitution isn't here to regulate the people of the united states, its here to PROTECT the people of the united stats from government control. As an ex military service member I feel if this country doesn't decriminalize marijuana in the next 10 years, we will all really be in for a treat. Sorry for the rant, just felt the need to get that off my chesteven cities Breckenridge Colorado legalized it for people over 21 I believe.
Hearing shit like that makes me sick. Everyday you hear of people getting raided that went through the proper steps (that the state decided on) to get a LEGAL medical card, and their STILL getting harassed for it. Specially when they have a terminal illness. Do we really want to be labeled "America... The country that slams citizens with terminal illness for smoking a natural substance..." . I hate feeling a sense of helplessness against the direction this government is headed.Well I'm in michigan where it has passed and the city of saginaw just tried to suspend
people applying for cards & growing for 6 months out of every year. There was a huge protest over the weekend because this city was trying to overrun the state law! Finally the city dropped the issue sat night. In august in the city of Shelby a couple with cancer was raided & arrested because they had one plant over the legal card carrying limit. My point is even if it does pass don't expect things to be like in cali over night. It's very sad but I can almost guarantee that if it does pass there, the people that need it the most will still be challenged. It's been almost two years here in MI and it takes at least 6 months to even get a pending case number let alone an approval. I'm still crossing all my fingers & toes for ya!
And mmj is legal in cali madcatter
Yeah no shit!!! It's verrrrrrrry frustrating.Hearing shit like that makes me sick. Everyday you hear of people getting raided that went through the proper steps (that the state decided on) to get a LEGAL medical card, and their STILL getting harassed for it. Well they have a lot of illness qualifiers here in MI but getting approved for them quite another storyIt just passed an hour ago. They say it is going to be very strict though, not like california law.You need to have aids or MS,not depression or anxiety or a stubbed toe
most important though....one BIG step in the RIGHT direction! It just passed an hour ago. They say it is going to be very strict though, not like california law.You need to have aids or MS,not depression or anxiety or a stubbed toe
