Will flowering under MH + led be ok?

my veg plants are getting too big and my flower room is full for the time being so i was wondering if i could just start the flowering time cycle under the 2 400mh with some side lighting with 2 90 watt led for more red spectrum.. I've read that flowering under mh makes buds smaller but denser so i was hoping the leds would make it more like hps... any thoughts?

yea itl work fine.... but 4 higher yields and quality id go with hps

the buds are larger and much less dense with MH lighting. larger but you end up yeilding less because of how fluffy the buds are. the LED lighting on the sides might help if they are an enhanced red spectrum, but i dont realy know what the mixture of lighting will do to the plants.

whats the story on switching from hps to mh last few weeks of flowering i have herd people doing this but cant find why

if you grow with mh you flower wiht hps mh is summer bright and hps looks like fall you are tricking the plant to do things in less time when you look at the bulbs mh is bright white hps is more yellow i have never went back to mh the bright light will flash the plants and put them in shock

you can make the plants flower buy just going to 12/12 i sell and use leds leds will not flower like hps they will flower the buds are smller but more thc if the plants are to big trim them down slow down on plant food more water when you change the time all plants will flower

What would the effects be if one has to switch to 12/12 under the 400 MH for the first 2 weeks of flower then moving them under a 1000 HPS to finish? I think I got my second run started just a bit early and they are growing much faster than expected.

ya i am starting to flower under two metal halides for the first week or two. i am waiting for a new ballast to come in the mail then i will switch from two 400 mh to one 400 hps and two 90 watt led red spectrum. has anyone ever tried a combo of led and hps?
