Will either of these reflect enough light?

I plan on gutting out my old dresser and turning it into an stealth-type cabinet. I was at home depot came across 2 different products I think might reflect enough light for me. This is only temporary and I plan on getting some Panda Film eventually, but for right now my budget and I was considering these 2 products.

Reflectix Staple Tab Insulation
Reflectix 24 In. x 25 Ft. Staple Tab Insulation - ST24025 at The Home Depot

and
Thermwell Self-adhesive Foil/foam Duct Insulation

Just remember the insulation stuff will hold the heat in..

Yeah, they'd pretty much work.

Only concern would be heat.

But with decent ventilation you'll be fine. :)

Yeah man! I use that Reflectix stuff! I make little tubes about 7 or 8" diameter and about a foot, or so, tall. One 23 watt CFL with a 5 1/2" reflector hanging straight down (into the tube), with some fresh air being blown into the bottom end of the tube. Works fantastic for small pots (up to about 6"). A scaled up version should work just fine too - I'm thinking about making a grow tent out of this stuff and some stiff framing. The irregular surface really scatters the light well! And the "bubble wrap" center core adds enough body so that it wont hang "floppy" like a single thin film of mylar or "Panda". It may not be for everybody - but it suites me just fine!

How about those mylar emergency blankets? Like two bucks at wal mart. I got some lining my closet now and it seems to be doing the job, but idk cuz I gots plenty of light in there anyway.

yeah the emergency blankets are shitty shit man. they have hot spots and can really loose more light than you can get....like its better to just leave it be for safety. most people compare it to tinfoil and how good do you think that shit is...its the creases that do tha harm by the way

ya it's gotta be flat right? I can see how it'd refract the light instead of reflecting it. Looks a lot more reflective than foil. I think foil's like 50% reflective at most. We'll see what happens in there, for now the blankets stay
