Will a air cooler drop the temp

Swamp cooler, more for raising humidity then cooling... in our growing world, no idea if that one would do a whole lot for cooling, bigger ones would do better, it says 4 in 1 but air purifier and cooler and humidifier is due to blowing air over a wet pad, or threw it.

Yeah, it says it has a cellulose cooling pad on the box, funny how they market it as a 4 in 1. Is there a spec on the box OP that says if it cools so many degrees from ambient? If you haven’t bought it yet I would keep looking myself, I think it’s going to disappoint. Hard to tell how big it is as well. Hold a wet washcloth in the wind, feels cooler, same shit. Old old air conditioners use to use blocks of ice and blow air across them.
