i know it probobly depends on the reflector, which leads me to my next question 6 or 8 inch flange? huge price increase
2 600s will give you a light payload of 3'x6' area if running flat.

6" flange and blower should suffice unless ambient temps are too high------then use 8".

No it will not. Youre running about 3700 lumens/sqft, You want 5000 lumens/sqft minimum in flower with 10,000/sqft being exceptional.

Run two 1000s, you'd get killer yields.

If you're aiming for 50-60w/sq.ft @ 47.5 sq.ft, you'll need between 2375 and 2850 watts. Like MistaRasta said, run two 1000's. If you plan on using every inch of that space (and why wouldn't you, lol) and if you can cool them, three 1000's would have it jumping. But that may be a lot of heat.

2 600s will do a 4*8 comfortably. If you're looking for most bang for you're buck, check out the vertical section where the average yield is ~1.1g/w

By the question im going to guess this will be your first grow. Start with one light and 4 or less plants. Do that for a grow or two. Once you have that down then go to two lights.

To cover that much area with the proper amount of lights and plants will overwhelm you with work/probs and you will likely give up. StRt slow and work your way up. If you start with 1 x 1000w and go 4 plants you can easily get a 1.5 lbs if you have no disasters...
