my buddy and i are growing bubble gum, ak47, and white widow. the bubble gum are over 2 months old and we are already flowering them. they're doing great.
the white widow, however, are only 3 1/2-4 weeks old. last night they looked normal. this morning we checked on them and they both had balls!
we're using cfl's and and they're getting regular 16/8 lighting.
should we be worried about them showing sex so early? using my limited weed growing knowledge i thought that they didn't do that till they started flowering and were getting 12/12 lighting...either way we're killing them since they're males but we've got other plants growing in the same area (should we be worried about them?) and we have more white widow seeds that we're going to get started tomorrow (is there any way there's a problem with the seeds?)
