Why this difference in branch development?

Im taking about the first node you can see on the plant. The right branch is way higher and very more developed than the one on the left.

Only due to sun/light exposure? Genetics?

Thanks.

Id say there was a difference in light exposure perhaps the weaker one was covered by a leaf or branch previously, once the stronger branch takes off the bigger/higher up it gets the more hormones it receives the stronger it becomes, more and more so.

It looks like you've got light spots developing on the leaves. That could be spider mites. Have you checked under you leaves with a hand-held microscope?

I've been dealing without too much succes with some plagues. Tried a neem oil based product, i suspect it's pretty diluted. I am also giving potassium silica product; instructions says to give 2 applications during veg and one in flowering.
