Why is my bud not drying?

So I've got some mother's milk that's been hanging for 17 days now at 65% humidity 60-65F temp. The stems on most of them had begun to snap so I jarred those up and a couple of branches are still hanging. The jar is just under 3/4 of the way full and the buds are starting to stick together into a block. The stems snap but the buds feel slightly sticky/moist. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

Take the mj out and let it dry then put it back in the jar and keep doing that daily till the buds are dry.

Since the heat wave has hit my area and I have my central air on it takes longer for mj to dry on the stock. Because of the moister in the air. Which takes mj longer to dry.

So I put a very small fan in my drying room and increase temp to 72. Usually dry and ready for the curing process in jars in a week.

Get your humidity down to 45-55%. The buds in the jar need to be pulled out and dried more. I'll put mine in a open paper bag for a day or two if they're not too wet, back on the drying rack if they're very wet. Remember to keep burping those jars to let moisture out and dry air in.

Buds in a jar seem to settle and clump together so the inner ones won't dry. Even just pulling them out of jar and separating the clump before returning them to the jar will help.

I'm in a heatwave where I live and I'm having a hard time with heat and humidity so I feel your frustration. Keep an eye out for 'gray mold' as it just loves moist buds and can pop up over night. Good luck. Be seeing you.

yup at 65% humidity the weed will never get dryer than that. It will stay damp indefinitely. I like 45-55% too and watch them daily to jar at the perfect dryness.

What type of thermometer/hygrometer are you using to determine temp and humidity? Does it give you 24hr high and low readings like this -

The reason I ask is I've never heard of anyone drying in the temp/humidity ranges you mentioned for 17 days who didn't end up with overdried buds as dusty as grandma's farts.
