Why do YOU grow?

Just smoked a J while replying to another thread and it came to me that what I'm doing isn't wrong even if it feels wrong.
I'm Growing for a family member I care for and only want to make the best medicine I can while they are with us.
that's why I spend time on here socializing, researching, learning, trying to help other members on here anyway possible.

id like to hear everyone's reasons why they're doing what they do.

I do it so I can run through my plants asshole naked and have my balls bounce of the branches of a 14 ft sativa as I run bye.....that's my sole purpose for growing , nothing more nothing less .....

To not have to spend any cash at dispensaries and help my patients save a ton of money on their car insurance by switching to Geico.

I grow to learn, for meds, for fun, and to save money.

I hate paying for some random ass shit every time. Might be good... Might be bad... Still the same price. Havnt totally replaced buying from my dude yet but it will get there!

I grew a year where i had only 3 strains. After 6 months i didnt even check after turning on the tent. What kept and has kept inspiring me is finding new phenos. Setting new seeds and looking for awesome mutants. And cloning everything in case its the best fire weed in the world.

I have COPD asthma arthritis, and my smoke is clean and doesn't hurt my chest. Besides I like growing, and the look my friends face when they pay 60$ for an 1/8 and my shit blows it away. Colas as big as my forearm.........

I grow for personal medical us only. Used to be a big stoner back in the day, now it's pretty much solely for severe insomnia and occasional acute anxiety. I will admit to enjoying a few hours of xbox after a bowl every once in a while though.

It's the best and most productive hobby someone could have. To save or possibly make money doing something as relaxing and rewarding as growing a plant is a no brainer. The aromas alone are enough to put a big smile on someone's face.
