Why are some of my leafs curling like this

Soil grow using hps

It seems out of 30 plants around 9 are curling up

Two photos show the curling, one shows a plant that doesnt

I noticed the curling even occurred on two plants directly after trroomlanting with the lights at other end of the room(therefore Light doesn't appear to be causing)

Check the underside of your leaves for mites. Do it in natural light. Use magnification to make it easier. I don't see signs but that sort of twist can be indicative of that.
