wHy are some Bud ready and some not

Ok The top of the plant is crystallized (they are clear) what does this mean>? I read you want the crystals to turn milky…is this correct?
Next the bottom buds are still forming and are not crystallized,nor are they tight, the hairs are white and still forming. In the past I had certain plants where I would pick the buds as they mature. In the south this would go all the way into December smoking fresh buds off the same plants.
Is it possible for a plant to mature its buds at different time top -vs.- the bottom.

YES... i have noctied this too.. the top buds seem to mature faster... AND buds that get more light seem to mature faster....

With indoor grows.. it is common to trim al the top BIG colas and then wait 3-7 days before the lower branches are harvested...

should the crystals be clear or milky? I read the potency will be differnent

If there clear not ready. If there milky white you get a heady high. If you wait for amber like I do you get couch lock. I love it.

diffrent strains the buds mature in diffrent ways some go from top too bottom some go inside out it all depends on the genetics and the individual plant itself i guess
