Is it quieter? Non-flammable?
I got some for my 6inch fan but tbh the fan is so loud when it comes on full power you wouldnt notice the sound of air moving through the ducting anyway.

Suppose it depends whre your ducting is runnng really.

Dosent mean its non flammable either. just basically ducting wrapped with rockwall.

I use insulated, its actually cheaper than the foil duct here because the duct inside the insulation is made of cheaper heat resistant plastic. I run two 1000 watt lights thru it and no probs. It probably gets over 100f inside there...

Ill be replacing all the flex shit on the outside of my tent with it next grow. That plus building boxes for my fans and removing most of my bends i think i can make my room silent from the hallway. Should help a little with temps too. The stuff they sell at lowes here is only $10 more then the flex.
