Who remembers the 60's?

Does New Years Eve 69-70 count??

Hendrix was doing Machine Gun, as the decade went from the 60s-1970. One of the first things he said after the song was, Happy New Year, first of all.

I grew up in the Cleveland Ohio area back in the 60s. Favorite radio station was WIXY 1260 and they were a pioneer with Rock and Roll. Listrended to all my favorite Motown and early rock until FM came around and then it was the Buzzard WMMS 101.7 through my elementary, Junior High and HS years. These were the days, no cares, no worries, none of the BS we deal with today, too many whiners and what about me crowd, versus the sex, drug and R&R days! About the only protests and no violence were the Nam protesters, which ended in 71 and then 73 was the last pull out if my dates are correct. This was when our politicians started selling out the country though, so looking back, I wish many of us would have seen it coming. Well peac out guys and have a groovy day! 8):peace:
