I am starting a new cycle using coco, which is new to me... In the past, I have used soil for a cycle and the pebble clay thinga-majiggers for 2. The issue is When I was running hydro in the pebbles, the ebb and flow system only floods the bottom 4 inches of the pots. I am pretty sure pebbles aren't a wicking medium and I was sure it limited my production. I was hoping that coco would be, but it doesnt seem to be as wick-ful as I'd hoped. Now I am looking into maybe having it all in a flood table and have a drip system going. I was hoping for some advice on how to do convert. Maybe jsut buy a bunch of half inch tubing and run form what was flood pump into a drip line and punch holes in the tubing and wrap around each plant bucket. What do you Think? Currently I am running 75/25 Tap to r/o water and about 200 ppm of nutes. I run 20 hours of light a day and am watering using pump hose by hand but soon will be automating the process. and advice is welcome.
