who knew that wind could rip my plant in 4?

got home from work last night and thought id check my plants. couldn't believe what i saw. my 6 foot early misty had literally been ripped in 4. at first i thought some bitter fucker had come into my garden and just decided to rip my plant up. but on closer inspection i could see what had happened. i topped the plant after the forth internode so i had 4 big branches. it seems with the high wind we had last night the weight of the branches being pulled in different directions caused the plant to be ripped apart by the wind. has anyone else seen or heard of this? anyway word of warning if your going to get high winds and you topped your plants early bring them inside. (im never going to top outdoor plants again). oh well now ive only got one outdoor plant left. it to is topped and i dont know if its a female or not. i think im going to try to flower it just so i know. i couldn't bear waiting another month to find my only plant is a male. (only outdoor plant!). by high wind it was only 40 mph.

Damn that's some gay shit. I know cannabis can't really survive those windspeeds though. Compared to other branches from other plants, cannabis has some thin branches.

i grow plants outside every year and i always top...

but i always do my toppin when their small

instead of waitin till their big...

but iv gone outside in the morns. to check on them

after nights of high winds and storms....

and iv found them layin on the ground...

i would have to drive a steak in the ground

and tie the plants back up...

thats nature for you.......

could you possibly re root the 4 branches and salvage the situation??? maybe make 4 plants out of the 1 victim

that was my intention but just my luck i was at work all day when i got home the situation was all over. oh well. i just hope my last outdoor plant makes it to harvest. i also had the "pots falling over problem it got to the point where it was nearly every day so i repotted them into massive pots./ the irony is if i hadn't of done that one of my plants would still be alive. he would just be on the floor. at least i know for next year. i think im going to duct tape my last plant around the area most likely to be affected to see if that helps.
