I think it's time we all come clean on who's who on here. Well I will anyway.
I can honestly state I do not work for have invested in any LP's.
I also am not and will not work for them or try to open an LP...
Whew...that felt good....come on now...everyone come clean.
It will be interesting to see if anyone admits to being employed by an LP
Please name the LP your working for...if you dare!

Undercover Marketing
Undercover marketing (also known as "stealth marketing", or, by its detractors, "roach baiting") is where consumers do not realize they are being marketed to. Buzz campaigns can reach consumers isolated from all other media, and unlike conventional media, consumers tend to trust it more often, as it is usually coming from a friend or acquaintance. Overall, the person doing the marketing must look and sound like a peer of their target audience, without any signs of an ulterior motive for endorsing the item.

Market....lol

It's not easy marketing caca, swag, meds!

Look at how they try., Ya gotta give them that at least.
I mean, it's so easy to see how hard they are trying ....to pull both feet out of their ass.
Tis what happens when ya jump in with both after all.

Looks good on em.

I plan to become a small LP, producing Certified Organic meds for a limited number of clients. Currently in pre-application phase.

ALL of the major screwups we have seen LP's do in the news, each were already prevented in my business plan. I will not take on a patient until we have an agreement on their preferences and have predicted their likely orders. And that we have IN STOCK 6 months of the meds they require, and plants in production to follow. If we pass all of those tests, we are able to accept that patient.

Tweed started sales on May 5 approx, then ran out on approx May 21. What kind of customer service is this? This not a commodity, it's medicine. Patients must COUNT ON the fact that they can re-order, and get the SAME meds if they wish.

If a patient orders a sample, and wants the SAME thing, their projected orders should in fact be reserved for them.

There will be a time for exactly this type of catering. I wish you well.

I am not employed by any LP, but want to work in the industry. we need to remember, tweed and mettrum have laid the ground work for the LP reputation. Places like Tilray (though pricey) and Whistler have produced a pretty good product and continue to do so. none of that seems to get recognized as much as the fuck ups. think of it this way. there are a ton of people who under mmar, could not be involved in the mmj industry, even though they supported it, were very educated and wanted to help people. The LP's have opened up many opportunities for people who weren't allowed to posses to work with something that they believe in and support. i understand the frustration people have with this system. quality and affordability are the main ones. but if people like us, who understand, and really have a passion for providing people with relief work for lp's, then i honestly feel that we could make a difference in the industry. if any of us were packaging that garbage from tweed, we probably would have said hey, this is shit.. we need to do better. just my 2 cents.

I have not and will not work for or support any LP's if it comes down to it I will support the crook down the street at least he all ways has a good supply and openly admits to ripping me off so at least he is honest about what he is doing and in my view his risk justifies his price.

i'm kinda the same boat as the last couple.. though will admit i flip flop on possibly working for one.
tilray is close enough to work at, and i hear they're one of the better.. yet at the same time, i also hear things i don't like (mainly from here, as there's so few ways to gather data. can't imagine being a patient relying on this new system)
i'd love to have a career in marijuana, that plus helping people.. amazing prospect for me. (but i don't think many LP's are in it for that)

more-so i just hate this fraudulent system, and can't help thinking it'd be kinda pansy to be so outspoken against it, yet then go work for it.

i also thought it would pay more than the $12.50 i'm hearing.. to likely get your foot in the door as trimmer, for $12.50.. i don't expect many with experience will take that.

i intend to always be an underground (personal-only ;)) grower, and never get carded though i easy can.. so being a worker for one of these places may not be a good idea either.

the crook down the street pays $20 per hour to trim with all you can smoke and free beer while you work and all tax free.

Hippy, another category of folks that should be disclosing their bias is those who sold big loads to LPs , e.g. tilray was all over the province buying up 65+ pound loads from folks, not all of which I would assume was from two wheelers so maybe some folks on here benefitted greatly financially from these transactions. KDude I hear your being of two minds re wanting to work for tilray, well the dude I met that worked there for 12.50 working long 12 hour shifts got the boot cuz he was just about to achieve union and a decent wage, similar to when some employers take people on with no intention of them rising in the ranks, this dude I met was also nervous driving home past the scene of all the two wheelers and cops down the street wondering if any of that heat would follow him home at the end of the day

I do not work for an LP, nor have I invested in one.
I fully intend to work with/for an LP that has the right vision, product quality, patient treatment and production strategies.
I'm not about to jump onboard with just anyone, but if the right people get approved I'll come back one day and note the change, accept Hippy's scorn and tell everyone how my LP is the best.
