At one point he had gotten more donations from military than all other candidates combined according to what i've read. Not sure if it was recent or 2008.

I spent 4 years in the service and I never met a single enlisted person that dopnated to a politician. Just because there are some stats like this does not mean that "the troops" support him most. each troop has his or her own opinion and comes from a different background. to group them together and say THEY support someone I believe is very disrespectful to them. people like to group together service personnel as if they are some kind of race and apply their stereotypes to them as a whole. and then use stats about them to support there own causes. I like ron paul but this is stupid.

right but to be fair you can't say the numbers don't mean anything, sure not many donate but of the ones that did they were 40 times more likely to have donated to Ron Paul, to be even more fair, Ron Paul is actually a hero and appeals to passionate people who would do something like donate money. It is interesting that more donated to Ron Paul then their commander and chief himself.

Anyone enlisted doesn't have money to donate, so i would pretty much guarantee most all of the money from active duty came from commissioned officers.

Stats can say anything anyone wants them to. Pick out the good ones, ignore the bad ones/ skew the graphs and use colorful language.

Passionate people donate money?!? I suppose special interest groups can be passionate.

Not seeing how that makes much of a difference officers or not? why so negative? No matter how much you try to downplay it, Ron Paul as the only veteran has the most support from the troops, this is a fact. Ron Paul will actually order them home so why wouldn't they want Ron Paul the most?

ummm who is Moxnews???? and why does a report from them makes you say who the troops actually support...so if I found something on youtube that says Ron Paul is racist would that make the claim true...

MOX is a mockery of FOX i believe. In that they are not mainstream and report facts from what i've seen. Definitely with their own spin but more relevant info than FOX.

Might be wrong. Lots of info out there.

MoxNews is a youtube channel its simply a guy that records tons of mainstream media from his television and posts them, this is from the RT network a show called Adam Vs the Man, a show run by veterans for ron paul group so yes it is biast, however, again common sense and other facts and sources(CNN and more, see video above for more sources) dictate that the troops do support Ron Paul overwhelmingly.

it seems like i can't take a shit without another ron paul thread popping up.

Wow guys. Try to mute our troops too. Nice.
yes, because we don't accept your single lonesome chart dogmatically, we are all just trying to "mute our troops".

i would appreciate if just once you guys didn't let your ron paul dogma interfere with your critical thinking abilities.

the 2012 election will "wake you up" and "open your eyes".

fun fact: last presidential election, ron paul got less votes than obama, mccain, ralph nader, cynthia mckinney, bob barr, chuck baldwin, and even alan keyes.

alan fucking keyes!

his 41,905 votes was only double the combined totals of the socialist parties, who garnered 20,935 votes altogether.

ron paul took home a pathetic 0.00032% of the total vote.

guess the old turtle fucker ain't that popular after all.
