Equipment & Setup:
Introduction and Methods:
Germinated the White Widow Auto on 2/4 via the paper towel method and planted it in FFOF soil, it sprouted on 2/8. The LED was originally 28" above, but I lowered it to 20" in an attempt to avoid excessive stretching, it seems the seedling responded well to that. In retrospect, I probably overwatered the seedling during the first couple days after it sprouted, but I've cut it back to one watering every 2-3 days. I'm typically delivering about 4-6 fluid ounces of water at a time around the base of the seedling and the sides of the pots. Because I'm in the Southwest, the superficial soil layer dries out very quickly and I'm using a spray mister about once a day to keep it moist. I've been running a light-dark cycle of 24/0 since the beginning with constant air circulation and passive ventilation.
On 2/14 I germinated a Sour Diesel Auto and a Girl Scout Cookies Auto, and planted them in a 3:1 ratio of FFHF-Perlite mix. I experienced some logistical issues with some of my equipment deliveries, the soil discrepancies are a result of that. As of today, 2/18, they've sprouted and are in the process of shedding the shell. Below are pictures I took just a few hours ago of all three...
