Look up diference between male and female plants. They have threads for that on here.

Yes, they can. I always buy femanized. You can't tell until flowering starts.

if you grow a male and female plant together the male will pollinate the female who will then produce seeds. Without a male there will be no seeds

This is a pic of White Widow Vegging 50 days.
Can you tell the Sex of this plant?
Sometimes they do show preflowers.
If you vegg long enough sometimes both sexes can show.
Before switching over to 12/12

I just finished a harvest and my plant had awsome buds. But deep inside there were seeds. I had two other plants in flower, no seed.

ive been growing now for a year or so i grow clones from a mother plant and dont touch/grow from seed also there has not been any other plants near mine and i`m the only person that gets in contact with the plants and i aint been near any other plants except normal garden plants eg sunflowers, sweetpeas etc..

i dont smoke the stuff so i`m not off my head

but ive had 2 people say they have found seeds within there bags and they were new bags when packed

maybe they aint got a clue cos there too off there trollys and think they found seeds i aint sure but it made me think....

Yup some females will go hermie to pollinate itself and other females around to produce seeds and ensure survival when there are no males around for a long period of time. Great plants, +Rep that mother is budding nicely :peace:

females do not pollinate themselves. Hermies pollinate themselves. You can tell a hermie because u can see its pollen sacks.

Sometimes a hermie will produce only a few pollen sacks deep inside the bud. You cannot really see them until you are basically harvesting or smoking. They will not produce too many seeds and the bud tends to not be effected potency wise. The seeds that are created will have a tendency to produce hermies if grown.
