So the chinese manufacturers are claiming they have got it down pat, and ive been looking into them. They are not that bad lol. Full spectrum LED are running at $.50 a watt right now. My 300w pulls 180w of power so im liking that, and they are actually working pretty well for my plants in veg.

Hey guys I've started my grow for about 2 weeks now, I have some pictures as i've been buying more things such as lights and mylar. I'll be doing this every week from here til finish, not going to be like most of the threads I see around here!
The Purple Jack Herer was a bag seed that happened to turn out wicked for a buddy last year.
Week 1
Got these clones from a buddy, they were looking like shit, and I was trying to start early to train them. They were in coco here but I didn't do my homework and wasn't getting growth I wanted, plus they were getting sick with my grow shop guys advice of nutes. So, i've moved onto good ol' pro mix in week 2 and they've perked up quite a bit. Here they are under a simple 100w T5 panel, with a 4ft 50w sunblaster.
Week 2
Bought a 300w LED from china, for only 200 bucks shipped and duties! I've been using it since friday night (2 days) and they are thriving. LED is not a gimmick I'm quickly finding. That big ass mother I bought off a buddy and is White Widow. She's getting cloned hard for some outdoor plants that'll be indoor for at least 1 1/2 more months since we still have a foot of snow on the ground here.
Here is a purple jack herer, bottom left, top left AH #3, top right Super Lemon Haze, and bottom left another AH #3, for those who aren't familiar it's Arjan's Haze #3.
