I ordered a 600w white light off Amazon and it came with a built in timer/dimming system but the thermometer was shattered so I contacted the company and they are sending me a new thermometer as well as a 2000w red/blue light which is more sturdy and has two switches one for veg and another for flowering. So now I have a choice which one would be best/more effective for my plants?

I don't like that I can't see the actual watts of the claimed 600w one, but my guess is less than 100w actually.
The blurple one is almost 400w, so it's a lot more powerful.
How big is your grow space?
I'm using part of my closet so 2.5 feet x 6 feet

I'd use both. The blurple will also give off some UV. And always run the blurple with both switches turned on. That's cool they sent you a free light. So did you get them both for like $50? If so, that's not a bad deal at all.
Got the white light for 50 and the purple free and may get a refund for the white because they are looking for testers

I don't know what you pay for electricity but who cares, it will only help your yield. I wouldn't be worried about electricity costs with LED to be honest
Ok sounds good that white light has a dimmable feature should I just keep it at max all the time?

Find out what the actual true wattage is and what the manufacturer recommends. Seedlings will require a lower wattage and higher distance from the canopy but as they get bigger, you can increase the intensity and lower it closer to the canopy.
60w for the 600 and 400w for the 2000
