This is powdery mildew. You can try using green cure or if you want to make your own use 1 cup of skim milk, 1 tablespoon of baking soda in one gallon of water. This will not kill the powdery mildew but keep it at bay. If you just started flowering, as bad as it sounds, I would probably start over. It is systemic and in the cells of the plant, so it will not go away. You can also lower the humidity and increase air flow to help. I had it last round, but not as bad as in this picture. Get on it quick if your gonna try and save them because it will spread fast untreated. The recipe above is from one of Ed Rosenthal's books and worked well for my brother in-law when he found some on his plants. If it is in the buds you are gonna have a tough time controling it, but if not then you may be able to finish the run with it. I used Excel LG on my clones as a preventative and if you have more than four weeks left then you can use the excel or Eagle 20( which is supposed to actually work on a celullar level to help the plant fight off the powdery mildew).Good luck man, I know it is a bitch.

i got the same stuff, i sprayed it off. i think its white flys cause its outdoors right? if u dont get it off i think the white shit hatches and becomes worms that eat ur buds.

Is it too late to spray sodium bicarbonate? Its been flowering about 3-4 weeks and I just sprayed some of that on it, will this damage the buds?

no, it is not too late for sodium bicrabonate. You can spray it up till the end if you have to. But I would be sure not to over treat as it will burn the hairs on your buds if you do. That is what baking soda is sodium bicarbinate. The most gentle ting to use is the skim milk ,but I would add some sb to it.

No, they will be alright, If you look at the trichomes they should be fine. It just looks bad, but won't effect the potency. If it is just the lower buds sites that got burnt than you could probably take them off. I don't like cutting much during flower personally if I don't have to. Just make sure you treat the entire plant covering every leaf and every stem even if they look clean and green.
